Saturday Social Volley

Social Games

Saturday Social games run from 10am-12pm every Saturday. We foster a sense of community and safe space so the LGBTQIA+ community can feel comfortable participating in sports - when many are unable to do so due to sporting cultures of discrimination and harrassment.

These sessions cost $9, which help us to cover the costs of court hire. Double-check details here

Sessions are suitable for all skill levels, although you should have a basic level of familiarity with the game. If you haven't played volleyball before, we also provide free drop-in training sessions every week from 12pm-1pm. See more below.

Free Community Training

To further our mission of safe sporting environments, we provide the oppourtunity for anyone to learn the game for free! In doing so, we hope that our community will be empowered to pick the sport back up or try something new.

We are extremly proud to be the only club in Perth offering drop-in beginner training for adults...every weekend...for free!

Community Training runs from 12pm-1pm every Saturday. Confirm details here

More Beginner Friendly Options

Social-Competitive Games

We Partner with The Volleyball Bunch (TVB) - a like minded and inclusive community - to provide more oppourtunity for beginner and intermediate players to build their skills and have fun.

They provide options for various skill- and comitment-levels. Check out their page for more options or reach out to the Perth Scorpions to learn more

WAVL + Further Development

WAVL - State Volleyball League

Perth Scorpions VC has come a long way from 2023, where we submitted our first ever WAVL team. In 2025, we were able to submit a Div 5 and a Div 6 men's team, as well as a Div 3 women's. Thanks to our skilled coaching staff, our teams are performing very well and are on track to make it to the finals of this years division.

While the current season is fully underway and we are unable to take any more players, you can email us an expression of interest for 2026. Given the performance of previous years' teams, we are fully capable and wanting to submit teams in higher divisions in 2026.

The current season is due to wrap up in early September. After which, we will run off-season training to those considering attending try-outs in early 2026.

Perth Scorpions VC offers multiple pathways for interested players to get involved in this exciting endeavour! WAVL players have the opportunity to develop as an athlete, referee, or coach through our WAVL pathways.
