Submit your EOI to join a Scorpions TVB Team for the 2026 Spring/ Summer Season! 

• EOI Closes 8th of August 2026.
• You can nominate as an individual (scorps will place you into a team) or as a team of 6 or more.
• Mixed will still be at Golds on Wednesdays & Men's/Women's will be at Loftus on Fridays.
• Estimated Cost: $140 to $175 per team played on, per person. (Payment plans will be offered, with payments made every 2 weeks over a period of 2 months).
  • eg: if you nominate for one team, it may be up to $175, if you nominate for two teams it may be up to $350.

Note: This is an EOI only, you are not required to pay until you accept your team allocation in a few weeks.

Notes from the TVB Team:

• • To simplify operations, we've opted to start the week following WAVL Finals (the week of 14th Sept) and aim to finish earlier to avoid player absences due to end-of-year plans. 
    • This means the Men's/Women's season will be shorter, finishing at the end of November. 
    • Unfortunately, Golds is undergoing repairs, which has crushed our goal of finishing earlier for Mixed.
  • To still provide a full season feel, we are reducing the division sizes from 6 to 4 teams.
    • This also allows us to give more court time and untimed finals!
    • Simpler Grading
    • Our Volunteers and staff won't have to be on the minute for any changeovers
  • With those division size changes,
    • Mixed will now consist of 5 Divisions [A-E: Happy for any nicer naming suggestions] 
    • Men's will still have 2 Divisions but we are leaving a 3rd Division open as an EOI to gauge interest
    • Women's will have 1 division, but we will leave a second division open as an EOI to gauge interest. If there is significant interest, we will open a 3rd.
  • A big thing that's recently changed is we have officially become incorporated! This allows us to run a leaner operation internally, so fees will be lower this season even with the recent hike in court hire prices across the venues.
    • We are always looking for more internal members, including volunteers, general staff, Event/Social Coordinators and referees. FYI, we pay our Event Coordinators and Referees quite well ;)
