Thinking of joining Perth Scorpions Volleyball club for the 2026 WAVL season?
These sessions are open to existing WAVL athletes and athletes seeking to join a team for the 2026 season. These sessions will allow our coaching team to understand the number of teams and players PSVC will be entering in 2026, and begin forming divisional pools.
What to expect:
Come ready to play some Volleyball and participate in drills that allow our coaching team to see what skill level is present. This assists our coaching team in preparing both the off-season and pre-season training sessions.
At the end of the end of these sessions, each athlete will recieve a preliminary placement offer for 2026. You will be given a pool allocation:
- Mens:
- Division 3/4
- Division 5/6
- Division 7
- Womens:
This ensures that you will have a guaranteed spot in a PSVC team for the 2026 season in one of the divisions in the pool that your previsional offer stipulates.
Pools will be split in to teams for the 2026 season in Janurary 2026 in preperation for pre-season training.
What you need to do:
Each session is capped at 30 athletes, so registration prior to the session is required. For your convienence we are ruinning four sessions for both the Mens and Womens competition, you are not required to attend all four.
- If you are a new WAVL player for Perth Scorpions (i.e. you did not play for PSVC in WAVL for 2025):
- You must attend atleast two (2) of the grading and pre-season selection sessions of your choosing.
- You must register as a PSVC member (free) before signing up to any session. This ensures that we have the appropriate contact information for you.
- If you are a returing PSVC WAVL player and have already recieved a preliminary offer for 2026:
- You must attend atleast one (1) of the grading and pre-season selection sessions of your choosing. You are strongly encouraged to attend more.
To cover court hire costs, each session is $7.
